In contrast, the bustling high street area, Saxon Square shopping centre and Bargates provide a variety of interesting shops as well as several of the larger chains of retail stores.
Christchurch is also renowned for its spectacular natural harbour, ideal for most water sports, and its six beautiful, unspoilt sandy beaches which span Christchurch bay.
