What’s your favourite city in Britain and why? It would be a toss up between London and York. I love the international feel of London – it’s extremely cultural and cosmopolitan and there is plenty to see and do, whereas York is a beautiful city with amazing architecture and history.
What makes Britain unique for you? The diversity of the British isles, be it the contrasting landscape, history or weather. Also the British sense of humour!
What is Britain’s best kept secret? That would be telling!
What is your favourite British meal and where would you eat it? Definitely fish and chips on the beach, but unfortunately I cannot have it too often being a professional sportsman!
You’ve got one day to spend anywhere in Britain. What do you do? I’d take my mountain bike up to the stunning Lake District and explore
