Conwy

Take a short bus ride from Caernarfon to Llandudno. Here, you can take a breathtaking tour on the Conwy Valley Railway. The route winds along the Conwy Valley into the Snowdonia National Park. Watch the mountains draw closer as you approach Betws-y-Coed with its shimmering waterfalls and mountain walks.

Aberystwyth

Travel back to Llandudno, where you can take an Arriva train to Aberystwyth via Shrewsbury. The seaside town of Aberystwyth marks the beginning of the scenic Vale of Rheidol Railway to the gorge and waterfalls at Devil's Bridge, said to be built by the Devil.
