Overview

The North Downs Way National Trail follows the chalk scarp of the North Downs from Farnham in Surrey to Dover and Canterbury on the Kent coast. It runs the length of 2 Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty - the Surrey Hills and Kent Downs. Walk the North Down Way trail and enjoy an inspiring, unique and scenic journey.

The North Downs Way National Trail starts at the old English market town of Farnham. The town is steeped in history, and has some of the best Georgian architecture in the south of England. It's also a great place to explore the surrounding Surrey Hills, which are rich in wildlife, woodland, attractive market towns and villages.
