You're sure to have a great time whenever you come to Britain - but during school holidays, many popular attractions, events and destinations can become busy. So here's your guide to school holidays in Britain:
Summer holidays
The main school holiday is in the summer, for around 6 weeks from mid-July to early September.
Half-terms
Christmas
Schoolchildren in Britain get around 2 weeks holiday at Christmas from mid/late December to early January.
Easter
The Easter half term usually falls in the 2 weeks either side of Easter weekend.
Others
The other half terms in Britain fall in mid-February and mid-October, each lasting a week.
