Taxi

Car

The airport is just outside the Leeds ring road about 20 minutes northwest of the city centre. The airport, and both Leeds and Bradford are well connected to the national road network including the M62 motorway to Liverpool, Manchester and Hull, and the M1 to London (only about 3 hours away by car). Bus

The 757 bus runs a frequent service from the front of the airport to Leeds bus station, from where you can get a free city bus service around the city centre, including Leeds City train station. The 757 runs between 05:20 and 22:25 Monday to Saturday, and 07:25 to 19:25 Sunday. An adult single ticket costs £2, and journey time is about 40 minutes.

The 737 and 747 buses run from the airport to Bradford Interchange train and bus station. The 737 runs a frequent service to Bradford between 06:45 and 23:40 Monday to Saturday (no service Sunday), and the 747 between 06:40 and 22:25 Monday to Friday, 07:15 and 19:25 Saturday and 10:35 to 18:30 Sunday. For both services an adult single ticket to Bradford costs £2, and journey time is about 40 minutes.

Train

From the airport you can take one of the bus services indicated above to either Leeds City or Bradford Interchange train stations. Both Bradford and Leeds stations are on main line rail routes and well connected with the rest of Britain, including direct routes to London.

You can buy a through ticket online with National Rail from the airport to any UK train station, or you can simply buy your ticket from the train station when you arrive. When using rail connections through Leeds City Station, you'll need about 20 minutes to transfer from the 757 bus service to your train.
