Leicester City Football Club

Formed in 1884 and originally called Leicester Fosse FC, the team plays their home games at the King Power Stadium, also known as Filbert Way, in Leicester, in the East Midlands.

Also known as The Foxes, Leicester City Football Club made headlines across the world by winning the 2015-2016 Premier League, having only been promoted to the league in 2014.

Leicester City fans are often referred to as the Blue Army and can be heard singing the club’s anthem, ‘When you’re smiling’. Their other honours include winning the League Cup three times and reaching the FA Cup final four times – a record for the most final appearances without winning the trophy!
