This main thoroughfare gets its name from a royal palace that used to exist on the site. Sadly the palace burnt down 1698 but the name remained. Cruise past Horse Guards Parade, the Cenotaph, Downing Street and the only remaining part of Whitehall Palace, Banqueting House.

At 135m high, the London Eye is the tallest Ferris wheel in Europe. It has 38 pods, each one representing a London borough. If you want to see more of the capital after the bus tour, book a trip on the London Eye where you can see views of up to 25 miles away (weather permitting!).
