Drift through the Norfolk Broads National Park on a vintage cruiser
Britain’s largest protected wetland has long been a boating destination. Tucked away in East England, the Norfolk Broads is a series of rivers and broads (lakes) lined by rustling reeds and arched over by a huge sky. You’ll find over 200 sq km of navigable waterways and more than a quarter of the UK’s rarest plants and animals here, from marsh harriers to swallowtail butterflies. Hire a vintage cruiser or a yacht and spend a relaxing day or three drifting along the waterways past traditional windmills, exploring gentle riverside villages and watching out for otters playing on the banks.
