Watching the pros play at Wimbledon
The All England Croquet and Lawn Tennis Club has been watching over the development of tennis since the mid-19th century, with the first Wimbledon Championships taking place in 1877. Since then, tennis greats from across the world have sweated, yelled and thwacked aces on its expertly manicured grass, and tickets to the sport’s oldest, and most prestigious, Grand Slam event are highly sought after. There are four ways to get tickets: by ballot, queuing on the day, via Ticketmaster or as part of an official hospitality package. You can also take a tour of the grounds and visit the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum.
