Britannia Yacht

The Royal Yacht Britannia was, according to the Queen, “the one place I could truly relax”. Since it was decommissioned in 1997 (one of the few times the Queen shed a tear in public), the yacht has been berthed in Edinburgh, where you can see the cabins and decks that hosted world leaders, the royal family and an exceptional crew. Climb on board and discover what life was like for the Queen and crew as Elizabeth II became the world’s most travelled monarch. Top off your visit with afternoon tea in the Royal Deck Tea Room, where the royal family used to play deck games.
