Picture gallery: The Theory of Everything

Friday 20 February 2015

Congratulations to Eddie Redmayne! He took home the Oscar for best actor for his role in the powerful British film The Theory of Everything. It tells the story of world-renowned theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking, his time at Cambridge before the onset of motor neurone disease, and how he persisted in devising world-changing theories about the creation of the universe in spite of his condition. To celebrate the nomination, we thought we'd give you a little taste of the film's location, the beautiful city of Cambridge: If you want to pause the slideshow, just hover your mouse over an image.
