Expect a Canadian invasion at the 2017 Edinburgh festivals

Monday 24 April 2017

This year marks the 70th Anniversary of the world-famous Edinburgh festivals including Fringe, Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, and Edinburgh International Festival—a favourite among Canadian entertainers. Past years have included performances from Quebec theatre artist Robert Lepage, Angela Hewitt, Chilly Gonzalez, and the St. Lawrence String Quartet just to name a few.

No matter which festival in Edinburgh you choose to attend (there are nine awesome ones to pick from), expect an explosion of colour, music, events, performances, comedy, dance, street performers, food, and more. Needless to say, the summer festival season is a very magical time to visit the city.
