Wandering a film set with heritage
Blenheim Palace is one of Britain’s grandest stately homes and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the early 18th century, it’s famously known as Winston Churchill’s birthplace and the parkland was designed by legendary landscape designer Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown. Film buffs will likely know it from the many films shot here, including The BFG, Cinderella, The Young Victoria and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. You could easily wile away a day wandering the impressive rooms that have come to life on the big screen.
