Plunging into the world of Game of Thrones
Parts of Northern Ireland will be familiar to Game of Thrones fans; this is where many key scenes from the record-breaking TV series were filmed. Drive along the beautiful avenue of twisting beech trees towards Georgian mansion Gracehill House and you’ll be transported to the Kingsroad, where Arya disguised herself as a boy to evade capture. Murlough Bay is better known as Slaver’s Bay, where Tyrion and Ser Jorah were captured. And when Castle Ward was transformed into Winterfell Castle, the film set was preserved so you can dress up as Jon Snow and shoot arrows from the exact same spot.
