Isle of Skye
Visit this magical mist-cloaked isle off the west coast of Scotland.
The largest of Scotland’s Inner Hebrides islands, the Isle of Skye is home to iconic landscapes and as a result is a popular filming location, most recently featuring in King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017). You can easily create your own legend in this magical place, with magnificent mountain ranges, captivating history, and miles of dramatic coastline. Lace up your walking boots and explore the island’s most majestic geological features, such as the Old Man of Storr, the Cuillin Ridge, and the Quiraing – a massive landslip on the Trotternish ridge where filming took place for King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. And after a day of adventures, there are plenty of cosy traditional Scottish pubs to retreat to.
You can visit the Isle of Skye by public transport or car from mainland Scotland, or go on a tour.
