Did you know York has more miles of intact city walls than anywhere else in England? Or that its underground Roman baths were used by Emperor Constantine?

York is a stunning city that's full of fascinating finds, from medieval streets (the oldest shopping street in Europe, mentioned in literature as early as 1086AD!), to Viking remains, and it's even said to be the most haunted city in Europe!
