Where to start with the Brighton Pavilion, aka The Royal Pavilion? The iconic palace was originally built as a seaside pleasure palace getaway for King George IV, with a unique mix of Regency splendour and Indian and Chinese designs. It later served as a hospital during the first World War and is now open to the public. With Royal bedrooms, grand reception rooms, and the Prince Regent Gallery with rotating exhibits the Pavilion is a treasure to behold just over an hour from London 😍.
