Great British sunsets

Friday 26 August 2011

Why is it that when we think of those spectacular sunsets where the sky momentarily comes alive with the most vivid colours we seem to picture them in a faraway exotic location? Here in the UK we are blessed with many beautiful sunsets, while the variety of landscapes and constantly changing cloud cover provide the perfect combination for those late afternoon pictures. Here are just a few of my own pictures taken around England and Scotland, capturing some famous and lesser known locations in the last rays of sunshine. I hope you enjoy them.
