Leadenhall Market

Turn a certain corner in the City of London and you'll step into the Victorian grandeur of Leadenhall Market, which has a long and fascinating history. It's located in what was once the epicentre of Roman London and has had several notable incarnations, first becoming the sort of covered market you see today when it was rebuilt after The Great Fire of 1666.

Think it looks familiar? That's probably because it appeared in the Harry Potter films as the atmospheric Diagon Alley.
