Leeds Castle, Kent

Opening autumn - winter 2023

As part of an exciting fresh lakeside offering, Leeds Castle is getting set to welcome guests to four new luxury lodges towards the end of 2023. Overlooking the grounds across the Great Water, a lake with views of the castle, each lodge will be equipped with modern amenities to add comfort to the stay. Guests will have access to Leeds Castle estate, which spans more than 500 acres and boasts seasonal gardens, parklands, activities, and attractions for all ages. The lodges will be an addition to the existing Knight’s glamping, castle rooms, holiday cottages, bed and breakfast and Battel Hall accommodation available at Leeds Castle.

Langdale Chase, Lake District

Reopening December 2023

Having welcomed visitors since 1937, Langdale Chase on the shores of Lake Windermere will reopen its doors to guests after a thoughtful restoration this winter. Conceptually reimagined, the renovation will see 30 rooms redesigned to pay homage to British country house living, with patterned fabrics, traditional textures, and colours to represent the surrounding water and mountains. In addition to the rooms, guests will be able to enjoy lounges that lead to the garden terraces and a new cocktail bar. The main house will have 21 rooms, while eight rooms in the Lakehouse and a private Boathouse suite offer a hideaway escape. The restaurant, headed up by chef Michael Cole, has two AA Rosette-awards and will continue to serve up dishes inspired by the region.
