Gōst, Glasgow

Opened March 2022

From the team that brought Glaschu to Glasgow’s foodie scene, Gōst offers a new all-day dining experience in the heart of the city centre. Featuring delectable beef cuts and grilled fish, Glasgow chef John Malloy brings a menu set to tickle any taste bud. Guests can tuck into the likes of Orkney scallops, Angus beef from sustainable Scottish farms and deep-water garlic butter prawns. Inside expect suave décor, a jam-packed bar to complement the expansive cocktail menu and space for 160-covers.

 

The Mount by Glenn Purnell, Warwickshire

Opened March 2022

Following the success of his eponymous restaurant and Birmingham’s first Michelin-starred eatery, Purnell’s, chef Glynn Purnell has opened the doors to his latest venture. With its contemporary interior set against the backdrop of original wooden beams, The Mount, in the market town of Henley-in-Arden, offers a unique dining experience that puts a twist on the traditional pub. Boasting 60 indoor covers with additional alfresco seating, guests can expect home comforts with sirloin steak, a classic scotch egg, and a Sunday roast with all the trimmings on the menu.

 

Brix, London Bridge, London

Opened March 2022

Shining a light on British seasonal and sustainable produce in the heart of London, Brix really packs a punch for any foodie looking for a taste of the city’s all-day dining scene. Set across four distinctive spaces and two floors, visitors can venture to the main dining hall, lounge bar, private dining room and late-night basement bar for a full-on experience. Bringing unique flavours to London Bridge, guests can tuck into a hemp and cauliflower burger, marmite glazed ribs or dive into a brunch full of jalapeno cornbread, wagyu beef and buttermilk waffles. The industrial interior brings a snippet of Brooklyn to London, with the space also home to on-site exhibitions, film screenings, live events with street art and weekly DJs.

 

Arcade Food Hall, Centre Point, London

Opened April 2022

Arcade Food Hall is packed with eight open kitchens and a mezzanine restaurant that brings the flavours of the world to London. Featuring everything from the tangy flavours of North India to hearty authentic Nepali street food and Middle Eastern shawarma, evening dining can be accompanied by a packed programme of live music. Guests can watch intricate sushi dishes being prepared up close or head to the mezzanine restaurant for Southern Thai food that packs spice. There’s also a number of destination-focused events celebrating all things international food.

 

Market Halls Cargo, Canary Wharf, London

Opened April 2022

Located opposite one of the stops on the new Elizabeth Line, Market Halls Cargo has landed in Canary Wharf. Open each day from 11am to late, the venue hosts two bars and five kitchens offering international cuisine including Cantonese Dim Sum, carbon-neutral Mexican grub from DF Tacos, and sustainable sushi from Inamo Sukoshi. The vibrant canal-side hangout spans more than 20,000 sq. ft and joins two other Market Hall locations in London (Oxford Street and Victoria).

 

Aqua Kyoto, West End, London

Opened April 2022

Enjoy a cocktail above London’s Regent Street, as the fifth floor of the iconic Dickens and Jones building houses Aqua Kyoto’s brand-new outdoor terrace. Bringing alfresco dining to the Japanese restaurant, the space blooms with colourful flora and boasts city-wide views. Guests can enjoy a free-flowing weekend brunch with limitless bubbles, a fully loaded menu and live DJ sets, or simply a tipple on the terrace from the new cocktail menu.

 

Lalaland Shoreditch, London

Opened May 2022

Think tropical palm trees, a thrashing waterfall and firepits, as Lalaland adds some extra flair to Shoreditch’s already lively food scene. This huge food hall venture spans more than 25,000 sq. ft and is fully loaded with four bars, eleven food stalls and lounges offering a proper feast for the eyes. Among the foodie vendors, guests can find uniquely Trinidadian treats from Saga Boy, grilled meats from Fireyard BBQ and authentic Taiwanese street food from GuaBao. The party pops with regular live music and DJs, and visitors even have the chance to take to the stage themselves with the on-site karaoke bar.

Sichuan Fry, London Fields, London

Opening June 2022

Following their success at Spitalfields Market with Dumpling Shack, owners John and Yee Li are set to open a multi-brand permanent restaurant in London Fields. The two-storey site with see Sichuan Fry, which offers mouth-watering fried chicken, take to the building’s first floor, with Dumpling Shack occupying the quirky basement space. Tuck into fried chicken wings oozing with honey or the Hot and Mala Mapo chicken sandwich for a fiery foodie experience. For a vegan treat, try the fried aubergine burger filled with sticky honey sauce and smacked cucumber.

 

Moët and Chandon at Harrods, Knightsbridge, London

Opening June 2022

Visit Moët and Chandon’s flagship bar, soon to occupy a section of the ground floor of Harrods in Knightsbridge. As the brand’s largest stand-alone Champagne bar in Europe, be prepared for pure opulence under a grand hand-sculpted gold chandelier, accompanied by the iconic Moët Imperial, served by the glass, by the bottle or by magnum. Designed by Sybarite studio, the space will host up to 34 people and provide a contemporary environment with a bar design that mimics the topography of the Epernay Champagne region in France. Alongside champagne, guests can expect a mix of fresh seafood dishes and pastries.

 

The Club House, Cardiff

Opening summer 2022

The Cardiff Bay waterfront will welcome The Club House this summer. Joining venues in Liverpool and Plymouth, the restaurant will span two floors, with an outdoor terrace overlooking the water. Expect a menu filled with hanging kebabs, calamari and vegan delights including a plant-based burger, as well as a diverse cocktail menu. Live music events and DJ sets are also set to take centre stage at weekends.
