Aston Villa Football Club

Based in Birmingham and affectionately known as ‘Villa’ by the club’s loyal fan base, Aston Villa won the Championship play-off final – cheered on by Prince William at Wembley – to return to the Premier League after a three-year absence in 2019.

Having been founded in 1874, the club has played at its Villa Park home since 1897 and wears a claret and blue kit.

As one of only five English teams to win the European Cup, Aston Villa has a rich history, having won the League seven times, alongside a further seven FA Cup triumphs and five League Cup wins.
