Day 1 – Sunday, 19 April 2020


Enjoy a pre- dinner drink of Crawshay Gin, proudly produced in Hensol Castle, followed by a relaxed welcome dinner in this VIP space. The group will have a private dinner in this grade 1 listed building, originating from the 1700's and set in a stunning estate - the perfect 'Welsh Welcome!'.


Day 2 – Monday, 20 April 2020


Depart hotel for the first showround of the day - the National Museum Cardiff. Network in the company of great works of art including one of the finest Impressionist collections on display outside of Paris! Then it's on to the Motorpoint Arena Cardiff followed by a tour of our famous Cardiff Castle, one of Wales' most exclusive MICE venues. Enjoy lunch and a showround in Greys Restaurant of the Hilton Hotel where the chef will create a special Welsh themed menu.


Visit the home of musical talent at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with a state-of-the-art new Concert Hall, Richard Burton Theatre and exhibition arcade overlooking the stunning grounds of Cardiff Castle. Experience a sound of Wales with a performance from the talented students. Finish the afternoon with a visit to St. David's Hall, a performing arts & conference venue in the heart of Cardiff.


Dinner this evening will be in Llanerch Vineyard, a successful, modern wine producer offering exceptional hospitality in the heart of the beautiful Welsh countryside. Unleash your creative spirit and immerse yourself in an Angela Grey Cookery School experience. Use the Welsh culinary inspiration to create a unique Welsh dish, paired with Welsh wine from the award winning on-site Llanerch Vineyard.

Day 3 – Tuesday, 21 April 2020


Visit the iconic Wales Millennium Centre, one of Wales' most impressive venues and home of the Welsh National Opera and unique arts. Then it's a showround of the unique Exchange Hotel, learning about the history of the Coal Exchange as well as exploring this conference dinner venue. This will be followed by lunch and a showround of the stunning 5* Voco St. Davids and hear about the hotel's fantastic sustainability story. Meet in Cardiff could also have the opportunity to inform the group of the Convention Bureau's unique new sustainability programme.


Adventure awaits at Cardiff International White Water to discover the wide range of adrenaline activities including surfing, wave riding and river rafting! Perfect for conference social programmes or a unique casual dinner space-combining activities with a BBQ. Hop on board the Princess Katharine and sail across the bay to Penarth for some Welsh refreshments on Penarth Pier, pointing out the James Sommerin restaurant en route.

Evening Activity

Head to Mansion House, the Lord Mayor's official residence. Along with the Meet In Wales team, we suggest inviting South Wales ambassadors and reps from key organisations. We would research the Association specialisms and match these with local ambassadors.

Day 4 – Wednesday, 22 April 2020


The group will explore Cardiff Market with Sian from Loving Welsh Food for a brief food tour to experience a true taste of Wales. This will be followed by some free time to get a feel for the vibrant capital city.


Group to meet up and walk across to the Principality Stadium, one of the world's most iconic stadiums and home of Welsh Rugby, for a relaxed buffet lunch followed by stadium tour. After the tour, the group will depart for arrival at ICC Wales at 15.00.
