Hensol Castle

Hensol Castle, a Grade I-Listed, 17th century former stately home, just 15 minutes drive from Cardiff city centre, has been sympathetically restored to its former glory.

The newly-built Courtyard Hall is the castle’s most prized room. Designed to be energy efficient with heat-retaining glass and a natural wildflower roof, Courtyard Hall is set in the heart of the castle and can host a dinner party for between 10 and 200 seated guests.

The exterior wall of the Courtyard Hall is floor-to-ceiling glass, which opens up onto the landscaped inner courtyard – a perfect setting for a drinks reception before dinner.
