Formerly the world’s largest jute manufacturer, Dundee is now a world innovator in gaming and graphic art design and the UK’s only UNESCO City of Design. Located on Scotland’s east coast, the city has a wide choice of venues for conferences and events, from contemporary art centres to impressive civic spaces. The city has recently opened Scotland's first design museum, the V&A Dundee, which is the only Victoria and Albert museum outside of London.
Located a short walk from the railway station, the University of Dundee has more than 40 conference rooms available. Its largest space can accommodate up to 350 delegates in theatre-style seating with the option to allow audio-visual access from its smaller theatres.
A former Edwardian college, the Abertay University offers space that accommodates up to 350 delegates in theatre-style seating.
The only specialist conference and meetings venue in the city, West Park accommodates up to 300 delegates for meetings and conferences, 200 for dinner and offers 204 bedrooms.
