Located in the heart of Carnoustie at Angus, Carnoustie Golf Hotel & Spa overlooks the legendary Championship Golf Course and is located along the rugged coast of the North Sea. 

  • 94 ensuite bedrooms overlook the ocean and golf course, one of the venues for The Open Championship.
  • The Augusta suite has a theatre-style capacity of 350 and a seated dinner capacity for 250 attendees. 
  • Eight further meeting and event spaces range in capacities from 180 theatre-style in Oakmont to 50 theatre-style in the Hogan Presidential Suite - the largest of its kind in Scotland.

University of St Andrews

MeetGB 2019 - Worshop and Beaumont Estate
 

Founded in the 15th century, St Andrews recently celebrated 600 years of continuous existence, during which time it has made an enduring contribution to the intellectual and cultural life of both Scotland and the wider world.

  • There’s over 90 meeting rooms to choose from, ranging from historic venues such as Parliament Hall (180 theatre-style), Upper and Lower College Halls, which overlook St Salvator’s Quad, to landmark contemporary buildings including The Gateway (40 theatre-style) and Medical Sciences Building (300 theatre-style). 
  • The largest plenary venue is Younger Hall with a capacity of 968 theatre-style. 
  • Many of the university facilities have additional breakout and syndicate rooms available. These vary from capacities of 10 to 72 delegates. 
  • Some 1,700 bedrooms are available for delegates attending conferences from June to September.  Delegates can choose to stay in Agnes Blackadder Hall which has en suite facilities, as well as Forbes Bar.

University of Dundee

The University of Dundee campus is conveniently located for conferences, meetings and events, being a short walk from the cultural city centre and the railway station. The modern Dalhousie building offers four lecture theatres. Theatre 3 has a capacity for 350 people in tiered seating. All four lecture theatres combined are networked to permit audiovisual access to almost 800 delegates. 

  • A double-height foyer can be used for registration, exhibitor space and networking lunches. The mezzanine gallery overlooks the grand foyer and can comfortably accommodate 120 delegates standing.
  • The Tower building features the 290-capacity D'Arcy Thompson Lecture Theatre.
  • Other facilities in the Tower building include The Baxter Room 1.36 on the first floor, with 80 classroom-style seating available.

Caird Hall

Caird Hall is Dundee's major concert, conference and events venue, situated in the heart of the city. 

  • This four-star arts venue creates a stunning profile with the main entrance amid the Doric columns opening to the pedestrianised City Square, whilst overlooking the waterfront development and the V&A on the south side of the building.
  • The main Caird Hall auditorium seats 1,850 guests or can be used as a reception space for 1,000 standing guests.
  • The Marryat Hall can seat 280 delegates theatre-style or 220 for a dinner.
  • A suite of smaller meeting rooms vary from theatre-style set-ups accommodating 60 people, to a more intimate boardroom layout for 12 people.
