Glasgow dining & social experiences
Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum
Set in parkland near Glasgow’s lively and entertaining West End, this awe-inspiring venue is home to one of the finest civic art collections in Britain.
Groups will spend quality time with artistic greats such as Botticelli, Rembrandt and Van Gogh, while indulging in the gallery’s grandiose atmosphere.
With capacity for up 1,000 dinner guests, the Centre Hall within Kelvingrove offers a spectacular banqueting setting beneath an exquisite vaulted ceiling and in view of the Lewis Organ.
The Argyle Street Arches
Steeped in local history, Argyle Street is a series of atmospheric and adjoining arches that provide extremely versatile spaces for up to 700 people for dinner and 1,700 for a drinks reception.
Smaller events, between 100 and 300 people, can be held by using just one or two arches.
Be assured, staging an event here will have a strong eco-friendly ethos as the Argyle Street Arches has ambitions to become Glasgow’s greenest venue.
Glasgow Science Centre
Hold a private dinner with a difference in one of Glasgow Science Centre’s 14 unique spaces.
Before sitting down for dinner, guests can enjoy a glass of bubbly while admiring over 250 world-class interactive science and technology exhibits.
With capacities from 50 to more than 450, the Centre is a short five-minute walk from the Scottish Event Campus (SEC), offering a convenient social venue next to Glasgow’s largest event complex.
