Sheffield is a major centre for sports and academia with many of its meeting and event venues consisting of space from its two educational institutions, the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University. The city also has deep roots in current music history and has a thriving social scene.

  • Manchester International Airport is 1 hour 30 minutes away by road.

Sheffield City Hall

 

The city's main convention centre, the historic Sheffield City Hall is a stunning art deco building that houses three impressive halls for conferences, banquets and business receptions. The hall accommodates 2,271 for seated conferences and 380 for banquets.

Magna

 

Transformed from a disused steel factory into a science, adventure and educational centre, Magna is a modern, well-equipped event venue. It can accommodate up to 2,500 delegates for meetings and 1,000 for banquets.

FlyDSA Arena

One of the country’s largest indoor entertainment venues, FlyDSA Arena comprises the full Arena, intimate Steel Hall, Arena Club and many hospitality suites. It can seat up to 12,500 delegates for large conventions and conferences.

University of Sheffield

The Octagon Centre is the University of Sheffield’s largest venue and can accommodate up to 1,250 delegates. For a more intimate events, its Edwardian Firth Hall host drinks receptions for up to 400 delegates.
