When you think back on vacations you’ve had, isn’t it the moments that made them special that live on in your mind? These are the OMGB moments, those electrifying experiences, the once in a lifetime sights and the events that really take your breath away. With the launch of our new OMGB campaign, we thought we’d put together a teaser list of just some of the amazing moments Britain has to offer:

A day at the Roman Baths

Bath_roman_baths 800 The Roman Baths in the city of Bath are one of the best preserved Roman buildings in the world, and a Celtic shrine even stood here before the Romans arrived. Today the natural hot springs are housed in grand 19th century buildings, but signs of the Romans still remain. While visitors can no longer bathe here, you can indulge in the natural thermal waters at Thermae Bath Spa a short walk away.

Morning stretches on the Jurassic Coast

Morning Stretches 400 Britain’s Jurassic Coast has some very dramatic cliffs, the perfect place to get a breath of fresh sea air and take in the sights! Its name comes from the great number of fossils that have been found beneath the cliffs.

Seeing the iconic Eilean Donnan Castle

Castle Over Water 800 Standing on a tidal island where three of Scotland’s great Lochs Meet, Eilean Donnan castle is a truly majestic sight. Delve into the historic of this 13th century castle, and explore some of Scotland’s most magnificent landscapes.

Stonehenge at Sunrise

DescriptionStonehenge is a large henge or stone circle in Wiltshire, and an internationally recognised travel destination. Huge standing stones were dragged to the site and placed in the landscape in the era 2,500 BC. It is a UNESCO world heritage site. Watching the sun rise at the incredible prehistoric stone circle of Stonehenge is a breath-taking experience. Cast your mind back over the millennia and think of the many peoples throughout history who’ve seen the same sight and the true age of this incredible place starts to sink in, though it’s purpose and meaning still remain a mystery.

Last night of the Proms

Proms Concert in Full Flow 800 The atmosphere on the famous Last Night of the Proms is palpable, as eight weeks of classical concerts reach their grand finale in the Royal Albert Hall. Inspirational music, an air of patriotic excitement and grand surroundings make this a truly OMGB moment.   Of course, these are just a tiny sample of what you can come here and experience, and there are endless new moments to be made.
