1. Follow in the footeps of Sherlock Holmes

Over the summer of 2016 multiple sightings of Benedict Cumberbatch were reported as he filmed the popular BBC series Sherlock in many Cardiff locations. Throughout the series’ history they have filmed in many Cardiff locations including Ramon’s Café and the National Museum Cardiff.

 

2. Discover the locations from Merlin

BBC television series Merlin was filmed at both Castell Coch and in the town of Caerphilly, a 30-minute drive from Cardiff. The two castles offered the perfect medieval backdrop for the story of King Arthur and Camelot.

 

3. Visit the locations from sci-fi drama, Torchwood

Cardiff Bay plays a starring role in BBC sci-fi drama, Torchwood. Torchwood’s secret headquarters is located underground in Roald Dahl Plass. The Wales Millennium Centre also often appeared in the background
