Just opened

Eleanore, Edinburgh

Opened in December 2021

Sister to Edinburgh’s The Little Chartroom, Roberta Hall McCarron and Shaun McCarron opened their second venture, Eleanore, in late 2021. Taking its name from a boat owned by chef Roberta’s family, the restaurant draws in influences from her time spent exploring the Scottish coastline. Expect a relaxed environment with high-top tables and stools, and a continuously changing menu of Scottish produce.


Rai, Fitzrovia, London

Opened in January

Acclaimed Executive Chef, Padam Raj Rai, opened the doors to Rai in early 2022, offering a multi-course omakase-style culinary experience in the heart of Fitzrovia. Drawing in a fusion of flavours, Rai showcases Japanese dishes with British influences. Discover quintessentially British sustainably-sourced ingredients like English truffle and cave-aged Dorset cheddar alongside Japan’s finest produce including Koshihikari rice and Wagyu. To accompany a traditional Japanese setting, expect handcrafted recycled tableware made from materials such as driftwood and scrap metal, all helping to shine a spotlight on global environmental challenges.


Goddard and Gibbs, Shoreditch, London

Opened in February

Inside new hotel One Hundred Shoreditch, find all-day seafood restaurant Goddard and Gibbs. From all day dining to a wine bar and take-out hatch for on-the-go delights, G&G takes inspiration from English seaside towns and fishing villages. Headed up by chef Tom Moore, the seafood eatery focuses on ethical sourcing by serving British produce including Dorset crab, grilled lobster and Orkney scallops. With a quirky beach feel interior featuring a yellow rock sculpture and sand inspired artwork, G&G is a playful space to tuck into simple British cuisine.


Neyba, Notting Hill, London

Opened in February

Bringing together some big names including Michelin-starred sushi chef Endo Kazotushi, pizza extraordinaire Miguel Barclay, authentic Japanese cook Yoko Nakada and Scotland’s very own Tony Singh – Neyba introduces a new concept to the foodie landscape. The hybrid project headed by Misha Zelman, co-founder of Burger and Lobster, incorporates a restaurant, gourmet grocer and takeaway under one roof.  With the aim to reduce food wastage, customers can pick up takeaway meals in compostable packaging, as well as staple household food items, sustainable meat and fish.

Acme Fire Cult, Dalston, London

Opening in April 2022

Teaming up with 40FT Brewery’s Steve Ryan, award-winning chefs and restauranteurs Andrew Clarke and Daniel Watkins are set to create Acme Fire Cult, a live-fire cooking permanent restaurant. Pulling in brewery flavours and beer where possible, expect a menu of unique tastes including hot sauce from beer-soaked chillies and Acme ‘Marmite’ made from beer yeast. The low waste menu puts seasonal vegetables at its heart alongside regenerative farm meats and sustainable fish, with diners able to tuck into ox cheek, monkfish or coal roast beets for next-level barbeque dining.


Apricity, Mayfair, London

Opening in April 2022

Multi-award-winning chef owner Chantelle Nicholson will introduce her latest restaurant, Apricity, to London this spring. Championing sustainability and staff wellbeing, the new venture focuses on ethical seasonal produce sourced from small scale farmers as well as zero-waste cooking. Along with fine dining options, guests can enjoy a dedicated tasting menu that celebrates British vegetables, regeneratively farmed meats and sustainably caught fish from the waters surrounding Great Britain and Northern Ireland. For the socially conscious consumer, look out for the interior which features a restorative design, made to be removed and reused when no longer needed.  


Fourteen, Milton Keynes

Opening in April 2022

Expect panoramic views and a stylish setting at Hotel La Tour’s bar and restaurant, Fourteen. Located on the 14th floor, it offers a seasonal British menu serving all day dining options and afternoon tea with lavish smoked salmon profiteroles and mint pickled cucumber sandwiches. In addition to a marble effect central bar and plush seating, the restaurant offers 360-degree skyline views over Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.


Cavita, Maryleborne, London

Opening in May 2022

Bringing the flavours of Mexico to London, Adriana Cavita is set to launch her eponymous restaurant Cavita in May. Drawing from influences throughout her own childhood, Cavita’s dishes are inspired by stories, family and celebrations – mixing Oaxacan and coastal Yucatan culinary traditions with British ingredients. An authentic Mexican menu will feature heritage Mexican corn, Mole Verde and birria tacos cooked in an open fire kitchen. Take the theme one step further and discover Mayahuel – located below Cavita and serving a variety of mezcal and signature margaritas.
