Street art from London’s Brick Lane – iPhonography

Friday 16 December 2011

Perhaps best known for its cheap and cheerful curry houses, Brick Lane, in London’s East End, has become an extremely hot spot for the edgy and artistic crowd. Vintage clothing stores, chic boutiques and several of London’s best known night clubs dot the vibrant area.

Aside from the great food I relished in during a recent stay on Brick Lane, I loved all the street art. Brick Lane is actually world famous for its street art which features works by such famous artists as Banksy and Ben Eine. One early morning during my trip, while many of the shops were still closed, I managed to capture quite a bit of the art with my iPhone. Here are some of my favorites.
