Finding fossils on the Jurassic Coast

The 95-mile-long coastline of Dorset and East Devon in south-west England is crammed with fossils and rocks that tell the story of 185 million years of life, and was England’s first natural UNESCO World Heritage Site. Join a guided fossil-hunting walk and uncover ammonites and brittle stars. Stand back and take in the big picture too – this coastline as a whole is incredible, especially the iconic natural limestone sea arch of Durdle Door and the crescent-shaped bay of Lulworth Cove.
