Walking the streets of Banksy’s Bristol

As well as maritime heritage and iconic engineering, Bristol is well known for its creative culture. One of the biggest names to emerge from the city’s art scene so far is world-famous street artist Banksy. Banksy grew up in Bristol, honing his art on the city’s streets and his work, along with other striking artworks by renowned artists is best seen on a walking tour; check out Paint-Pot Angel, Masked Gorilla and Mild Mild West. One of the best areas to see Bristol’s fantastic array of street art is Stoke Croft, known as Bristol’s creative quarter, with quirky shops, clubs, pubs and galleries.
