Dancing at a boutique festival
For four days every September, Portmeirion, a quirky village spilling down the cliffs of north Wales, is taken over by a unique festival: Festival No. 6, “a bespoke banquet of music, arts and culture”. Portmeirion, inspired by the white-washed coastal villages of Italy, was created over 50 years from 1925 with events, concerts and exhibitions in mind and is a work of art in itself. Festival No 6 brings the village alive with eclectic talks, street theatre, immersive interactive experiences and an impressive music line-up. Past headline performers include Hotchip, Echo & the Bunnymen, Noel Gallagher, Belle & Sebastian, Mark Ronson and Grace Jones.
