Abergavenny Food Festival

The largest festival in Wales' culinary calendar

Join the crowds as the fresh flavours of the annual Abergavenny Food Festival bring the streets alive.

The lively Welsh market town of Abergavenny on the border of the Brecon Beacons National Park enjoys an ever growing reputation for fine cuisine fuelled by fantastic local producers and boundless enthusiasm for fine food. And from the 18 - 19 September the town bursts with even more fresh flavours as the annual Abergavenny Food Festival brings the streets alive with stalls, demonstrations and tastings.

Explore the extensive markets that spill into the streets and lanes and feature the best producers from Wales, the Marches, and further afield. In addition to the main markets there are masterclasses, tutored tastings and talks showcasing some of the most skilled, passionate and knowledgeable practitioners in the country alongside local and regional talent.

There’ll also be entertainment for the whole family at the castle with live music, games and hands-on food workshops for children.
