Indian filmmaker Karan Johar, director of the smash hit Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, loves shooting his movies on location in Britain. The magnificent stately home Blenheim Palace, Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium, London’s British Museum and the vibrant shopping district of Covent Garden all feature and are all waiting to be discovered. In fact, filmmakers have always loved Top British Film Locations from the graceful Oxford Colleges that feature in the Harry Potter films to the beach at St Andrews in Scotlandwhere the iconic opening scenes from Chariots of Fire were shot.
