Day 2 – Monday, 20 April 2020

Day 3 – Tuesday, 21 April 2020

Visit to Portmeirion and lunch.


You will then journey to the unique coastal resort of Portmeirion, based on a Mediterranean village. It was opened in 1926, but the gardens are much older than this. In fact, some conifers, Wellingtonia and Himalayan Firs from the mid-1800s are still here. Enjoy the fantastic gardens, learn about its history and the quaint cafés and shops. For any fans of the series ‘The Prisoner’ from the 1960’s, this is where the show was filmed! You will have lunch here and enjoy a presentation by Rob Bullen at Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT). CAT is an educational charity dedicated to researching and communicating positive solutions for environmental change.


Ffestiniog Railway Steam Train to Blaenau Ffestiniog.


The Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways stretch for 40 miles through the glorious Snowdonia National Park, allowing you to experience the magnificent scenery in comfort whilst savouring the romance of gleaming steam engines and carriages.


Visit and activities at Zipworld.


This afternoon will be scaling the heights of Zip World, Titan. Sit back and zip away as you and colleagues fly down Europe’s largest zipping zone!


Your final stop today is Palé Hall, which is an AA Five Red Star, Relais & Chateaux destination luxury country house hotel. You will indulge in tranquillity of the setting, sumptuous décor and exceptional food as you enjoy a five-course taster dinner with drinks tonight.

Day 4 – Wednesday, 22 April 2020

This morning, you will depart for Celtic Manor.
