The Painted Hall
Dine in the ‘finest dining hall in Europe’, part of the Royal Naval College in Greenwich.Named the ‘Sistine Chapel of the UK’, the 4,000 sqm / 4,305 sqft Painted Hall reopened in 2019 following a delicate two-year refurbishment.
It is a striking baroque space designed by Sir Christopher Wren and Nicholas Hawksmoo and features spectacular wall and ceiling decoration by Sir James Thornhill, who lavished 19 years on this, his masterwork.

The Grand Hall is the largest space, with its arched ornate ceilings and centrepiece chandeliers.
The ornate domed ceiling and contemporary furnishings of The Crown Suite provide a great atmosphere for up to 100 guests.
