VisitBritain is delighted to announce the appointment of Bradley Nardi as Commercial Manager for Australia and New Zealand. Nardi joins the team off the back of tremendous growth in 2022, as Australia moved up the ranks to become Britain’s fourth most valuable inbound tourism market.

Nardi brings over 15-years’ experience working in tourism development and trade engagement to his new role. He most recently led the set-up of the successful Tweed Tourism Company destination marketing body in the Northern Rivers region of NSW, as the inaugural General Manager. Prior to his time in the Tweed, Nardi served as the Tourism Director and Head of Trade at Fraser Coast Tourism & Events and has also held marketing and sales roles at Destination Gold Coast and PPHE Hotel Group in London.

Maria Sykes, VisitBritain’s Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand said:

“We’re thrilled to welcome Bradley to the VisitBritain team as our Commercial Manager. With extensive experience working for some of Australia’s most respected tourism bodies, he is well placed to shape our commercial and trade strategy at such a pivotal time of growth for the ANZ market.

Developing strategic commercial partnerships will be his primary focus as we continue supporting the industry, seeking to convert strong demand for Britain into bookings and inviting visitors to ‘Come See Things Differently’ in Britain.”

Bradley Nardi, VisitBritain’s Commercial Manager for Australia and New Zealand said:

“I’m incredibly proud to join VisitBritain’s respected team and represent a nation that is well known to me, having immersed myself in its captivating culture whilst living and working there for a number of years.

Now is the perfect time to focus on strategic partnerships as we continue to grow leisure travel amidst surging consumer demand. I’m already incredibly impressed by all of the new and developing experiences across Britain, and with a professional background in regional tourism hotspots, it’s perhaps no surprise that I’m excited to educate the industry on the many hidden gems they can promote to their customers to entice longer stays and return visitation.”

In his role, Nardi will oversee VisitBritain’s strategic commercial partnerships and trade engagement strategy across the ANZ market. Supported by Trade Engagement Executive, Peta Evans, the team will continue to ensure that Britain’s enviable tourism offer remain both at the forefront of awareness and conversion for the Australian consumer and the travel trade.
