Teeing off in St Andrews, the spiritual home of golf

People have been playing golf at St Andrews Links for 600 years. You’ll follow in the footsteps of golf’s original pioneers and modern-day champions including Tiger Woods when you play a round at the Old Course; book well in advance or enter the Old Course Ballot, which is drawn 48 hours in advance. For a quirky taste of Scotland’s golfing heritage, play hickory golf at nearby Kingarrock, where golf is played as it was in the 1920s: with original hickory clubs from the 1900s and softer rubber-wound balls on a nine-hole course. Plus-fours are optional!
