A nice and very cold November day in London

It's August and I decided to choose a quite strange title, right? But on the other side, it doesn't feel so strange as we are all still waiting for a typical summer and it already feels like November. Let's hope that this article is out of date as soon as possible! Last November I've visited London and the World Travel Market (WTM). It was cold... really cold. On the last day we were invited to join a walking tour through London with Context Travel.

It was a busy weekend with a lot of fun meet-ups. We had many great talks and long nights. I just didn't feel like walking through London with cold toes. I didn't want to do any sightseeing in London. I felt more like sitting in nice cafe, drinking a Latte Machiatto or a typical cup of English tea! BUT... it was worth not hiding inside! I had very cold toes and I've jumped into each sun beam I could gather! Luckily it was at least sunny. The tour itself showed us the hidden physical remains of London's past. Did you know that there were any? No worries, if not. It's not that they show them like in other cities. You can even see a part of an old roman wall. A few streets names like Whitefriars and Blackfriars still tell you about the history London has. Roman city wall   St Paul's Cathedral London is always worth a visit... With or without cold toes!   Post Contributed by Melvin, Traveldudes.org Worldwide Travel Tips Melvin loves to travel, to discover the world, to travel free & untroubled & still likes to be informed like an insider!
