The best dairy comes from the happiest cows, and the happiest cows come from Britain – more specifically, from Yorkshire. From creamy ice-cream to crumbly cheese, this region of Northern England has some of best dairy products in Britain – and we rounded up our favorites below.

Get a glimpse into life at a working dairy farm—and taste some of the best ice-cream in England—at Our Cow Molly. Offering a variety of traditional and unique flavors (like Bakewell Tart and Honeycomb), you’ll be hard-pressed to pick a favorite, but we recommend trying the classic “Just Molly” – dairy ice-cream with no added flavour at all.

Cheeselovers will flip for this unique, specialist cheese-shop in Yorksire that features all your soft and smelly favorites, plus all the blue and hard cheeses you can handle. Feeling peckish? In 2017, the shop expanded to include a café serving cheese-based dishes, plus a cheese production room where visitors can learn about the art of cheese-making.
