Where to shop like a real British gentleman

Eggsy has certainly upped his game in Kingsman: The Golden Circle. In the second movie we see him spruced up and looking sharp, so where in London can you get the Kingsman look?

Where to buy classy British tailoring

London’s Savile Row serves as Kingsman HQ, and you can see why – it’s the home of class and style. Top-notch tailor shops have famously lined this street for over a century and it’s where the tuxedo first hit the world of fashion. Have fun strolling along this historic street and spot the real-life shop that stood in for the Kingsman tailors in the films. Why not get measured up yourself and splash out on a bespoke suit? Nearby Jermyn Street is also lined with tailor shops that offer more affordable alternatives.

Oxfords not brogues

On Jermyn Street you can also find a branch of Church’s – the renowned British shoemaker with a long heritage of beautifully handcrafted shoes that you’ll treasure forever (sadly not with any secret tricks if you click your heels together though…). You can also get a pair of actual Kingsman Shoes from George Cleverley Shoes at Mr Porter – and yes, they’re oxfords, not brogues!

Where to get a bit of pampering

You can get spruced up at Geo F. Trumper barbers and perfumers in London's classy Mayfair, or get a spritz of fine eau de toilette at Penhaligon’s, which was established in London in 1870. You can also acquire luxurious toiletries at John Bell & Croyden Wellbeing Emporium and Pharmacy, which has stood on Wigmore Street in central London for more than 100 years and has a Royal Warrant, no less.

Be sure to pick up a limited edition Kingsman TGC fragrance from The Perfumer’s Story by Azzi at Mr Porter. The tobacco flower and neroli-infused eau de parfum was created in collaboration with the film’s director Matthew Vaughn.

And where to buy those all-important accessories

A good leather wallet or bag is a worthwhile investment for every Kingsman worth their salt. Aspinal of London’s bags are assembled in Cumbria, England, and all components – the leather, cloth and metalware – are English. Classy. Find a branch on 25 Brook Street, Mayfair.

Finally, no Kingsman’s outfit is complete without an umbrella, and in London, you’re in luck – with an entire store dedicated to umbrellas! James Smith & Sons, which opened in 1830, is something of a landmark on New Oxford Street in central London and offers up every type of umbrella imaginable (although maybe not ones with surprise additions...).

Don’t miss the limited edition Kingsman collection of clothes and accessories on Mr Porter, too, the collection was co-created by director Matthew Vaughn!
