We’ve teamed up with award-winning director Tom Hooper to showcase our picture-perfect nation. Read on to discover more about the real stars – as seen on screen.

What are the real stars of our Starring GREAT Britain film?  

Tower Bridge, London 

While you might not be able to swing from Tower Bridge like Spider-Man, this London icon over the River Thames is unmissable. Cross its glass floor walkways or take in the views from an open top bus.

Tour legendary St Paul’s, attend daily services and climb the impressive dome – but we can’t endorse leaping from the rooftop, Tom Cruise style.

The sharpest viewers might have spotted the Houses of Parliament in Sherlock Holmes. Take the investigation into your own hands with a guided tour of the home of British politics.

Thames River Boats Tour, London  

Cruise along the Thames and spot London’s top sights from the water, before checking in for a night of luxury at The Connaught – you are the main character, after all!  

Edinburgh 

As seen in Fast & Furious 9, the Scottish capital Edinburgh is a city of culture and history, with its picturesque Old and New Towns and one of the world’s biggest arts festivals every August.

The Lake District 

The Lake District National Park is an epic playground for nature lovers and adventure seekers. With no end of thrilling experiences to be had, it’s time for your secret mission. 

Loch Lomond and the Trossachs 

Up in Scotland, this National Park around Britain’s largest lake is a natural paradise. Explore its bird watching trails, try out yoga paddleboarding or embark on a mountain biking adventure.

West Wycombe Park, Buckinghamshire 

West Wycombe Park’s palladian country house and surrounding gardens will transport you back to the Regency era for a romantic Bridgerton moment.  

Lyme Park, Cheshire  

Live out your period drama dreams in glorious Lyme Park. Indulge in afternoon tea in the stately home before heading out to explore the grounds and meet its hundreds of deer residents.

Eastnor Castle, Herefordshire  

Fairytale Eastnor Castle on the edge of The Cotswolds features opulent state rooms and grand bedrooms that can accommodate the highest society – it was the chosen wedding venue in season 1 of Succession!   

Kenwood House, London 

A stately home that’s home to a world-class art collection and acres of peaceful gardens, it doesn’t get more romantic than Kenwood House – as seen in Notting Hill!  

Cragside, Northumberland 

Step into 1,000 acres of woodland that surround Cragside, an incredible Victorian home in Northumberland. Its rock garden, waterfalls and soaring canopies might put you in mind of Jurassic Park.  

Anglesey, North Wales 

Wales or Westeros? The charming North Wales island of Anglesey is dragon territory, and packs a punch when it comes to things to do, from beach hopping to salt bathing.

Traeth Morfa Bychan, Snowdonia (Eryri)

A golden beach filled with sand dunes and rockpools, Traeth Morfa Bychan – also known as Black Rock Sands – is Snowdonia (Eryri) at its most beautifully rugged. Try your hand at horse riding or surfing and finish it off with a local ice cream.

Headcorn Aerodrome, Kent  

Catch an air show at Headcorn Aerodrome, or take part in your very own flying lesson if you dare! Pluck up the courage like Bridget Jones, who you saw jumping out of a plane here!  

Loch Shiel, Scottish Highlands 

Canoe around unspoilt Loch Shiel in the Highlands and spot eagles and red deer – and maybe even a Hippogriff if you look close enough, Potterheads!
