Deeply rooted in the cute village of Orford, in Suffolk, is The Pump Street Bakery. You won’t miss it, it has a pink exterior and is somewhat of a local attraction in Orford. A cosy tearoom and artisan bake house, Cuckoo’s Bakery is said to be the home of Edinburgh's quirkiest cakes. Cuckoo’s cupcake connoisseurs freshly bake everything daily using local Scottish produce, so it really is no surprise they’ve won ‘Best Cake in Scotland’ three years running. Try their vanilla sponge, filled with Galloway Lodge raspberry jam and a swirl of white chocolate frosting, it just so happens to be the cake that won them the accolade.
