Day 1

Birmingham, England

You don’t need to be Steven Spielberg to see that Birmingham’s awesome urban landscapes are a filmmaker’s dream. But the Hollywood legend – who filmed 2016’s Ready Player One here – is just one director who’s fallen for the city’s charms. From Peaky Blinders to Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One (2023) and Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017), retrace the footsteps of actors like Tom Cruise and Cillian Murphy on your own filming locations tour of Birmingham, via trendy Digbeth and the gems of the Jewellery Quarter.
